High-temperature polypropylene in indoor installations

PP-HT indoor sewage pipes are a standard solution used in residential buildings, public utility buildings, and industrial facilities. Made of high-temperature polypropylene, they are suitable for discharging domestic and industrial wastewater.

An outer diameter of 78 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm correspond to the typical DN 75 dimension used for soil stacks and connections to sanitary appliances. The ash (gray) color is the most common variant in indoor installations - it matches most distribution systems available on the market and allows for aesthetic routing of conduits in technical rooms.

Material properties and resistance

Polypropylene (PP) is characterized by good chemical resistance - it does not react with typical domestic sewage or most commonly used cleaning agents. It is smooth on the inside, which limits the accumulation of contaminants and reduces the risk of blockages. The weight of the pipe itself is only 0.46 kg per one-meter section - the lightweight construction facilitates transport, storage, and assembly.

The material is corrosion-resistant, does not rot, and does not decompose under the influence of moisture present in typical operating conditions. PP-HT pipes maintain joint tightness for many years without the need for maintenance.

Installation and operation

Pipes of this type are connected using sockets with seals or through butt welding - both methods ensure durable and leak-proof connections. The one-meter commercial length is convenient for transporting and maneuvering on the construction site as well as during finishing works.

PP-HT indoor sewage systems require maintaining appropriate slopes (minimum 2% for horizontal sections) and installing inspection points in critical locations - at changes of direction and on long straight sections. A correctly installed system operates without failure for decades.
