Control and Flexibility for Professional Installations
This power supply operates in the DALI-2 system, enabling precise, programmable control of each lighting fixture from a single point—without the need for additional control wiring. The ability to set the output current from 300 mA to 1400 mA via the LEDset protocol or software (e.g., Tuner4TRONIC) greatly simplifies adaptation to various luminaires, even when access to wiring is unavailable during installation. It also supports Touch DIM—control via button or motion sensor—making it ideal for corridors, restrooms, or warehouses, where automatic shut-off under sufficient natural light reduces energy consumption.
Reliability and Effective Cooling in Practice
The metal housing serves not only an aesthetic purpose—it ensures efficient heat dissipation, directly extending the device’s lifespan. At a Tc temperature point of 65 °C and a maximum 10% failure rate, the power supply can operate for up to 100 000 hours. Protection against overload, overheating, and short circuit operates automatically and reversibly—once the fault condition is removed, the device reactivates on its own. High efficiency (90%) and low losses (6 W) mean less heat generated within the luminaire and lower operating costs. Standby current is below 0.17 W—imposing no load on the installation when unused.
Applications and Compliance with Standards
This power supply is designed for Class I luminaires and is suitable for both standard lighting and emergency lighting systems in accordance with IEC 61347-2-13 (Annex J). It operates on DC output voltage ranging from 15 to 54 V, allowing connection of various LED configurations within a single line. It functions with mains voltage from 198 to 264 V, making it resilient to voltage fluctuations in urban networks. With an IP20 rating, it is intended for indoor use only. Push-terminal connections simplify installation even in confined spaces—no screwdrivers or special tools required. DALI-2 support enables energy data collection and remote diagnostics—essential for servicing large-scale facilities.
