Reliable grounding connection in electrical installations

The OU-3 grounding strap is a reliable element ensuring safe and effective equalization connections in various installations. It will work both in residential and industrial buildings, where high corrosion resistance and durability are required. The strap design allows for mounting grounding conductors to pipes with a diameter of 12 to 52 mm, and the conductor cross-section range for connection is 1.5 to 6 mm².

Durability and corrosion resistance

Made of brass with a nickel-plated coating, the OU-3 strap is characterized by high resistance to corrosive agents – moisture, flue gases, salt mist or chemicals. This makes it ideal for use in harsh environmental conditions, such as damp rooms, industrial plants or coastal areas. The brass used also provides good electrical conductivity and connection stability.

Installation and compatibility

The strap is easy and intuitive to install – it is clamped onto the pipe using an M6 screw. This allows for quick and secure connection to pipes of various diameters in the range of 12-52 mm. The strap is compatible with copper PE conductors with a cross-section of up to 16 mm², providing flexibility in the selection of appropriate installation components. Applying a torque of 2.5 Nm ensures optimal clamping pressure.

The strap meets the requirements of IEC 60947-7-2 and EN 50164-2 standards, confirming its safety and compliance with applicable standards. Corrosion tests carried out in accordance with PN-EN 50164-2 (sulfur dioxide test and cyclic salt spray test) guarantee long-term reliability even in extreme operating conditions.
