Precise construction and mounting functionality
A key structural element is the perpendicular roller actuator, which enables smooth, inertia-free detection of obstacles. This roller facilitates angled mounting and reduces the force required to activate the sensor, which is essential for the automation of production lines. The device features positive opening action, meaning that the normally open (NO) contact opens mechanically even if the normally closed (NC) contact welds shut. In alternating current circuits (AC-15) at 230 V, the device handles a current up to 1.5 A, while at a lower voltage of 125 V, this capacity increases to 3 A. Conversely, for direct current circuits (DC-13), the characteristics differ: at a standard control voltage of 24 V, a current up to 1.1 A is possible, whereas at a higher voltage of 230 V, the maximum current drops to 0.1 A. This distribution of parameters makes the limit switch suitable for both controlling network contactors and directly connecting PLC inputs or high-voltage DC coils.
The device operates stably within a wide ambient temperature range from -25 °C to +70 °C, making it suitable not only for production halls but also for outdoor applications or in unheated warehouses. The lack of a communication interface and safety functions means this is a classic actuator intended for simple logic circuits, not for safety systems of PL or SIL categories—for such applications, dedicated safety switches with dual positive-opening contacts should be selected.
