The INK 1-0.1-230V single-phase compensating choke is an element used to correct the power factor in electrical installations. Its task is to compensate for capacitive reactive power, which translates to more efficient energy use and reduced costs. The device finds application wherever there are loads generating capacitive reactive power, such as modern impulse power supplies (e.g., in LED lighting), long cable lines, or photovoltaic inverters.

Why is it worth using? Capacitive reactive power, although it does not consume active power, loads the power grid and can lead to financial penalties from the energy supplier. The INK 1-0.1-230V choke helps minimize these negative effects, improving energy efficiency and installation stability. Construction and characteristic features

The INK 1-0.1-230V choke is characterized by a solid construction based on a core with a winding made of copper wire. The core is vacuum-impregnated with class H varnish, which ensures high resistance to environmental conditions and long-term reliability. The device has a protection in the form of a bimetallic tripping switch, protecting against overloads. Mounting is done using angle brackets or on a rail (depending on the model).

This choke is characterized by a power of 0.1 kVar and a rated voltage of 230 V. It operates at a frequency of 50 Hz, and its current is 0.43 A with an inductance of 1684 mH. The insulation class is F, and the degree of protection is IP00. The dimensions of the device are 78 x 83 x 60 x 56 x 47 x (4.8x9) mm, and the weight is 1.2 kg.

The choke is manufactured in accordance with the PN-EN 60076-6 standard. The device is designed to operate in an ambient temperature of up to 40°C. Its compact size makes it easy to install even in tight spaces.
