Made of spigotless grey cast iron, it provides durability and resistance to damage, and its design with a rectangular access point facilitates access to the installation for inspection and maintenance. Construction and Properties
The SML system is distinguished by advanced technology for connecting elements using clamping sleeves (clamps, straps, connectors). The pipes and fittings are coated with multi-layer coatings that provide effective protection against corrosion and aggressive wastewater. The outer layer of primer paint (red-brown) prepares the surface for further painting, and the inner coating of epoxy resin (ochre) protects against the action of chemicals. The coating firing process at high temperature (approx. 180°C) ensures their durable connection with the base material.
