Cast iron elbow SML 150/45 is an element of a spigotless pipe and fitting system, designed for the construction of gravity drainage and drainage installations inside buildings. Made of gray cast iron without spigots, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation, meeting the requirements of EN-877 standard. It is a solid solution for both professional installers and end customers who value safety and durability.
Construction and properties
The SML system is distinguished by the lack of spigots, which translates into easy and quick assembly using appropriate pipe clamps – clamps, straps or connectors. The pipes and fittings are covered with layers of primer and epoxy resin, which provides them with resistance to corrosion and the action of aggressive wastewater. The internal coating with epoxy resin (ochre color) with a thickness of 120 μm protects against damage, and the external layer (red-brown) is prepared for possible painting. This firing process at approx. 180°C for 45 minutes ensures exceptional coating adhesion and its high strength.

- THERMAL AND CHEMICAL RESISTANCE - a coating of fully cross-linked epoxy resin (red-brown on the outside and ocher (yellow-brown) on the inside) is applied to the surface of pipes and fittings, and then fired for 45 minutes at a temperature of approx. 180 ° C. The result is a high-strength joint that provides high thermal and chemical resistance, protecting against aggressive wastewater.
