This cast iron tee SML 100X50/45 is a key element of a spigotless pipe and fitting system, designed for the construction of gravity sewage and drainage installations inside buildings. Made of spigotless gray cast iron, it ensures durability and reliable operation for years to come. The product meets the requirements of EN-877 standard, guaranteeing high quality and safety of use.
Construction and properties
The SML system is distinguished by the lack of spigots, which simplifies assembly and connection of elements using special pipe clamps (brackets, straps, connectors). SML pipes and fittings are factory coated with a layer of red-brown primer paint (40 μm), which can be additionally painted with colored varnish. The internal coating with a cross-linked epoxy resin (120 μm) in ochre color protects against the aggressive action of sewage. Fittings have a coating applied by immersion both on the inner and outer surfaces, and then baked at a high temperature (approx. 180°C for 45 minutes). This process ensures exceptional coating adhesion and chemical and thermal resistance.
