Fire alarm disconnect switch button PPWP-A without hammer 2xLED green/red W0-PPWP-A D1/2K XY ZC
Fire emergency stop button – quick response in hazardous situations
This type A fire emergency stop button is a key element of a fire safety system. It is used to immediately cut off the power supply in case of a threat, minimizing the risk of fire spreading and enabling safe evacuation. The device is particularly useful in large-volume facilities (over 1000 m³) or in areas at risk of explosion.
The button is distinguished by its intuitive operation – activation is done by breaking the glass, making it reliable even in stressful situations. As this is a directly operated device (type A), it ensures immediate power disconnection. The operating status is indicated by two LEDs: red (monitoring/alarm) and green (on/monitoring), which makes it easier to quickly assess the situation. The LED power supply can be done with 24V AC/DC or 230V AC, which ensures wide compatibility with various electrical installations.
Construction and application
The PPWP-A button has a normally closed and normally open contact (XY), which allows for flexible adaptation to different configurations of alarm and fire systems. The housing with IP54 protection degree guarantees resistance to dust and moisture, which enables mounting in difficult environmental conditions. The device is made of high-quality materials, ensuring durability and reliable operation. Electrical cables can be introduced into the housing through openings with the possibility of mounting Pg11, Pg13.5; M16, M20 cable glands.
The button should be installed by persons with appropriate electrical qualifications. Regular technical inspections (at least once a year) are crucial to ensure proper device operation – they can be simulated by unscrewing the screws securing the glass without breaking it. Replacing a damaged glass is simple and does not require specialized tools.
Certificates and compliance with standards
The PPWP-A fire emergency stop button has a National Technical Assessment CNBOP-PIB-KOT-2022/0340-1014 issue 1 and a National Certificate of Conformity No. 063-UWB-0456, as well as a National Declaration of Performance No.: 1/22. These confirm the device's compliance with applicable fire safety standards and guarantee its high quality and reliability.
