Miniature position (road) switches are designed for operation in various auxiliary circuits of control, signaling, measuring and monitoring systems. The following factors influence the choice of the correct type of the position switch:
- place of installation (required degree of protection)
- the shape and way of movement of the connector controls
- electrical parameters of the circuit
- mechanical parameters of the connector.
The LM miniature position switches have two climatic versions:
- standard - for moderate climate 2
- special - for maritime and tropical climate 6.
