This 10-port PoE switch SG108WP is an ideal solution for both professional IP video surveillance installers and end-users looking for a reliable way to power cameras and other network devices. The device allows you to simultaneously power up to 8 IP cameras, using the IEEE 802.3af/at standard (PoE/PoE+), eliminating the need for additional power supplies and simplifying installation. Two uplink ports allow you to connect the switch to your existing network infrastructure.

Application and functionality

The SG108WP switch automatically detects devices powered by PoE/PoE+ standard, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of IP cameras and other network devices such as IP phones or access points. Thanks to this, installation is simple and intuitive – just connect the device, and the switch will take care of providing power. The maximum power per PoE port is 30W, and the total power budget is 120W, allowing you to handle even more demanding cameras. Additionally, the "Long Range" function (available in STANDARD mode – 100m/100Mb/s or EXTEND – 250m/10Mb/s) increases installation flexibility, allowing you to connect cameras located up to 250 meters from the switch at a speed of 10 Mb/s.

Construction and mounting

The SG108WP switch is characterized by a compact design (dimensions: 190 x 27 x 105 mm) and solid construction. Mounting brackets are included in the set, which facilitate mounting the device in various locations. Optical LED signaling informs about the operating status of individual ports, which facilitates diagnostics and network monitoring. The device operates at a temperature of -10°C to 40°C, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use (in a protective housing). Power is supplied via a DC5.5/2.1 jack (48-57V DC) – power adapter is not included. The manufacturer's warranty is 2 years from the date of production.
