Functionality and expandability

The SFG124 switch offers not only 24 PoE ports, but also 2 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Mb/s Uplink ports and 2 SFP 1000 Mb/s ports. This solution provides flexibility in network construction and allows easy expansion with additional segments, both using copper and fiber optic cables. SFP ports allow data transmission over longer distances without loss of signal quality.

Power and standards

Each of the 24 PoE ports offers up to 30W of power, compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at (PoE+) standards. The total PoE power budget is as much as 360W, which allows powering even more demanding cameras equipped with heaters or infrared illuminators. The automatic detection function of PoE/PoE+ devices ensures compatibility with a wide range of network devices. Additionally, the switch supports auto-learning and auto-aging MAC address functions (8K table size), which optimizes network performance.

Mounting and signaling

The switch is designed for mounting in a 19" rack, taking up only 1U of height. Mounting brackets are included to facilitate installation. Clear LED optical signaling informs about the operating status of individual ports (power, link/act, PoE status), which facilitates diagnostics and troubleshooting. A solid metal housing ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
