This 6-port PoE switch is designed for IP surveillance systems where reliable power and data transmission are crucial. It allows you to connect and power up to four IP cameras compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards, eliminating the need for separate power supplies. Two additional uplink ports allow for easy network expansion and integration with a recorder or another switch.

Functionality and performance in practice

The switch automatically detects PoE/PoE+ powered devices on ports 1 to 4, simplifying installation and configuration. Thanks to Long Range mode support, it is possible to extend the data transmission range to 250 meters at a speed of 10 Mb/s – an ideal solution for large installations. The maximum power per PoE port is 30W, and the total power consumption for all PoE ports should not exceed 48W. This is important, especially for cameras equipped with heaters or infrared, which may have higher power consumption during startup.

Installation and additional information

The kit includes mounting brackets for the substrate, making it easy to mount the switch stably in a selected location. LED indicators inform about the device's operating status, and the solid construction ensures long-term reliability. The device is covered by a two-year manufacturer's warranty. Desktop power adapter PSD520115 52VDC/1.15A/60W max. is included in the set.

The switch offers six 10/100 Mb/s ports, four of which support PoE and two serve as uplinks with automatic speed negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX function. It supports PoE standards IEEE 802.3af/at, and each PoE port can deliver up to 30W of power. The total power budget for PoE ports is up to 48W. Long Range mode is also available, enabling transmission at a distance of up to 100 meters at a speed of 100 Mb/s or up to 250 meters at a speed of 10 Mb/s. Power is supplied via a desktop power adapter with a voltage of 100-240 V AC. The dimensions of the device are 118 x 28 x 85 mm, and the warranty is 2 years.
