Product features and functionality

Switch S64H is a 6-port device designed to power IP cameras operating according to the IEEE 802.3af/at (PoE and PoE+) standard. It allows simultaneous power supply to up to four cameras, eliminating the need for separate power supplies and simplifying installation. Two additional uplink ports are used to connect the switch to the network, providing fast data transfer. The device automatically detects devices powered by the PoE/PoE+ standard, making it easier to integrate with different types of cameras.

Construction and protection

The switch is enclosed in a hermetic housing (IP56), making it an ideal solution for outdoor applications exposed to weather conditions. The housing is made of plastic and has a screw closure, providing additional protection. A built-in switching power supply (PSCL520115 52VDC/1.15A/60W) and short-circuit (SCP), overload (OLP) and overvoltage protection guarantee safe and reliable operation of the device. Additionally, the possibility of mounting on a pole (using the optional OZB2 adapter) increases installation flexibility.

Technical parameters and performance

The device offers 4 PoE 10/100 Mb/s ports, each capable of delivering up to 30W of power, according to the IEEE802.3af/at standard. Two uplink ports also operate at 10/100 Mb/s. The switch supports auto-learning and auto-aging MAC address functions (with a 1K table size), which optimizes network performance. A Long Range mode is available, allowing data transmission at a distance of up to 250m at a speed of 10Mb/s – particularly useful in large video surveillance installations. LED signaling informs about the device's operating status, port activity and PoE status.
