PoE Switch for powering IP cameras and networks
SG64H is a 6-port Gigabit Ethernet network switch designed for video surveillance installations and networks requiring power to devices via Ethernet cable (PoE). The device allows simultaneous power to up to four IP cameras, utilizing IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) standards, while the remaining two UPLINK ports are used to connect to the local network or the wider Internet. This solution simplifies the installation and makes it more aesthetically pleasing, eliminating the need for separate power cables for each camera.
Construction and protection
The switch is enclosed in a durable, hermetic housing (IP65), which provides protection against dust, moisture and other atmospheric factors. This makes it ideal for outdoor applications where traditional devices may be exposed to damage. Additionally, a built-in pressure compensator prevents condensation of water vapor inside the housing, which increases the reliability of the device in difficult conditions. The built-in power supply eliminates the need for additional power supplies, simplifying installation and reducing costs. The switch operates in Store-and-Forward mode, ensuring stable data transmission.
