This HPSDCG2 series buffer power supply is a reliable solution for powering alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV cameras. Designed in accordance with EN50131-6:2017 and EN60839-11:2013 (degree 1 and 2) standards, it ensures continuous operation even in the event of a mains power failure. The device is particularly useful where high availability and power supply stability are required.

Design and functionality

The power supply offers four independent 13.8V DC outputs with a current of 1A each, with a total load capacity of up to 5A. Additionally, it has a dedicated space for a 7Ah battery, which automatically takes over the power supply in the event of a mains failure. Built-in protections (SCP, OLP, OVP, UVP, tamper) protect both the power supply itself and the connected devices from damage caused by short circuits, overloads or overvoltages. The metal housing provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage. A microswitch indicates opening of the housing, increasing the level of security.

The battery charging current is adjustable (0.5A/1A) allowing it to be adapted to the battery capacity and extend its lifespan. High efficiency (85%) translates to lower energy consumption and lower operating costs.
