This buffer power supply from Pulsar, model HPSDCG2-12V8X1A-C, is designed to provide uninterrupted power to devices requiring a stable 12V DC voltage. It is suitable for burglar and intrusion alarm systems (SSWiN) and access control (KD), meeting the standards of EN50131 and EN60839. This is a solid solution for both professional installers and end-users who value the safety and continuity of their systems.

Design and functionality

The power supply offers 8 independent outputs with protections (1A each), allowing you to connect multiple devices such as cameras, sensors or card readers. The total output current, including battery charging, is 10A. Inside the housing there is space for a battery with a capacity of up to 17Ah, providing backup power in the event of a mains power failure. The battery charging current can be adjusted using a jumper (1A or 2A). The metal housing (IP20) is designed for surface mounting or in an external housing.

Safety and control

The power supply is equipped with a number of protections: overvoltage protection (OVP), overload protection (OLP), short-circuit protection (SCP) and over-discharge protection (UVP). It also has relay-type technical outputs (FPS, EPS, APS) for remote signaling of failures or system operating status. Optical LED signaling informs about the presence of voltage and any problems. 8x1A fuse links provide additional protection for individual output circuits.
