The PULSAR HPSG3-12V5A-D buffered switch-mode power supply is an advanced device providing uninterrupted power supply for alarm systems (SSWiN) and access control (KD). Designed in accordance with EN50131-6:2017 and EN60839-11-2:2015+AC:2015 standards, it meets the requirements of degree 1, 2 and 3 and environmental class II, guaranteeing high reliability and stability of operation. This is an ideal solution for alarm control panels, sensors, coded locks, surveillance cameras and other key elements of security systems.

Functionality and parameters

The device offers an output voltage of 13.8V DC with a current of up to 5.5A, as well as a battery charging function with a capacity of up to 40Ah with a current of 1.8A. The use of a microprocessor-based automation system ensures precise control over the charging and maintenance process of the battery. In addition, the built-in LCD panel allows real-time monitoring of key power supply operating parameters – voltage, current and temperature. The ability to remotely monitor via LAN or RS485 network (requires appropriate modules) allows for a quick response in the event of a failure or irregularity.

Safety and protection

The HPSG3-12V5A-D power supply is equipped with a number of protections to protect both the installation itself and the connected devices. These include short-circuit protection (SCP), overload protection (OLP), overvoltage protection (OVP) and deep discharge protection (UVP). Additional functions, such as battery circuit continuity control and optical failure signaling, increase user comfort and facilitate troubleshooting. The metal housing with IP44 protection degree provides resistance to atmospheric conditions and mechanical damage.

The power supply operates at a network voltage of 200 to 240V AC. The output current can reach a maximum of 5.5A at 13.8V DC. The battery charging current is 1.8A, and the recommended battery capacity is up to 40Ah. The protections used include SCP, OLP, OVP and UVP. The housing protection degree is IP44.
