The PSG2-12V7A buffered power supply is a reliable device designed to provide uninterrupted power to burglary and intrusion alarm systems (SSWiN) and access control (KD) systems. It meets the requirements of EN50131-6:2017 (Grade 2) and EN60839-11-2:2015+AC:2015 standards, which guarantees its high quality and effectiveness. Thanks to the stabilized output voltage of 13.8V and a current of 7A, it is ideal for securing various installations.

Design and functionality

The PSG2-12V7A power supply is characterized by high efficiency (up to 87%) and a solid construction. It is designed for mounting in an enclosure, which provides an aesthetic appearance and protection against mechanical damage. It has a built-in battery charging circuit with the ability to select the charging current (1A or 2A), allowing it to be adapted to the battery capacity. In the event of a mains power failure, the power supply automatically switches to battery power, ensuring continuous system operation. Additionally, it is equipped with technical outputs signaling AC mains failure and battery failure.

Safety and protection

The implemented protections – SCP (short-circuit protection), OLP (overload protection), OVP (overvoltage protection), and UVP (deep discharge protection) – protect both the power supply itself and the connected devices from damage. Protection against reverse battery connection further increases the safety of the installation. Thanks to this, you can be sure that the system will operate stably and reliably for a long time.
