The PULSAR PSG2-24V2A switch-mode power supply is a solid solution for burglar alarm and access control systems (SSWiN and KD). The device provides a stable voltage of 27.6V with an output current of up to 2.5A, guaranteeing continuous operation of connected devices even in the event of a mains power failure. The power supply design meets the requirements of EN50131-6:2017 and EN60839-11:2013 standards, confirming its high quality and reliability.

Functionality and safety

The PSG2-24V2A power supply is characterized by high efficiency – reaching up to 89% – which translates into lower energy losses and more efficient operation. Built-in protections protect the installation against overload (OLP), short circuit (SCP), overvoltage (OVP) and deep battery discharge (UVP). Additionally, the power supply has EPS (AC power failure signal) and APS (battery failure signal) technical outputs, enabling a quick response in case of problems. Automatic battery test every 5 minutes allows for continuous monitoring of its condition.

Installation and application

Compact dimensions (159 x 98 x 42 mm) allow for easy installation of the power supply in alarm and access control system enclosures. The possibility of mounting on a DIN rail (using an optional DIN3 bracket) further facilitates installation. The power supply is designed to work with batteries with a capacity of up to 7-17Ah, providing long-term backup power in the event of a power failure. The ability to manually switch to battery power using the START function increases system flexibility. Optical signaling using LEDs informs about the presence of AC voltage, output voltage and any battery failure.
