This buffered switch-mode power supply, designed for built-in installation, is a reliable solution for alarm systems (SSWiN) and access control (KD). It provides a stable voltage of 27.6V DC with an output current of up to 3.5A, guaranteeing continuous operation of connected devices even in the event of a mains power failure. Thanks to compliance with EN50131 Grade 2 and EN60839-11 standards, it meets stringent safety and reliability requirements.

Functionality and Application

The PSG2-24V3A power supply is not only a power source but also an intelligent system element. In the event of a mains failure, it automatically switches to battery power, ensuring uninterrupted operation of devices. Built-in protections – SCP (short-circuit), OLP (overload), OVP (overvoltage), and UVP (over-discharge) – protect both the power supply itself and connected devices from damage. Additionally, it has EPS (AC mains failure) and APS (battery failure) technical outputs, enabling remote monitoring of the power supply status.

Construction and Parameters

The power supply is characterized by compact dimensions (159 x 98 x 42 mm) and a solid construction. This makes it easy to install in a limited space. Equipped with LEDs indicating the operating status and an optional external LED signaling set PKAZ168, it facilitates diagnostics and system monitoring. The applied protections guarantee safe and long-term operation of the device. The battery charging current can be adapted to its capacity – 0.5A or 1A – allowing for optimization of the charging process and extending the battery life.
