Buffered switch-mode power supply for alarm and access control systems

The PSG2-24V10A switch-mode power supply is a reliable power source designed for burglar and intrusion alarm systems (SSWiN) and access control (KD). The device provides a stable output voltage of 27.6V with a current of 10A, guaranteeing the continuous operation of connected devices even in the event of a mains power failure. The power supply design meets the requirements of EN50131-6:2017 and EN60839-11:2013 standards, confirming its high quality and compliance with applicable standards.

The power supply is characterized by high efficiency – up to 87% – which translates into energy savings. It has built-in protection against overload (OLP), short circuit (SCP), overvoltage (OVP) and excessive battery discharge (UVP), protecting both the installation itself and the connected devices. Additionally, the "start" function allows the power supply to be started directly from the battery, ensuring immediate switching in the event of a mains failure.

Construction and functionality

The power supply housing is designed for built-in installation, and its compact dimensions (237 x 168 x 54 mm) allow for easy mounting in various locations. The power supply has adjustable battery charging current (1A, 2A or 4A), which can be adapted to the specifics of the battery used. Optical signaling using LEDs informs about the operating status of the power supply – presence of AC voltage, output voltage and any battery failures. EPS (AC failure signal) and APS (battery failure signal) technical outputs are also available, allowing for remote monitoring of the power supply status.

The use of high-quality components and a solid construction guarantee long-term and trouble-free operation of the device. The power supply is designed to operate at temperatures from -10°C to 40°C and has protection class I and protection degree IP20. Mounting on a DIN rail is possible using an optional DIN4 bracket.
