This surface-mounted DIN 2/155 enclosure from Pulsar, model AWO612, is a versatile solution for mounting and integrating various systems – from electrical installations, through automation, to CCTV, access control and burglar alarm systems. The enclosure design allows for an organized arrangement of devices on a DIN rail (TH35mm), which facilitates installation and servicing.

Construction and functionality

The enclosure has been designed with easy installation and adaptation to individual needs in mind. Inside there are two DIN rails with a length of 320 mm, which corresponds to 18 "S" type fuse fields. Additionally, space is provided for two 17Ah/12V batteries, making it ideal for emergency power supply of security systems. A built-in tamper (microswitch) signals an attempt to open the enclosure, increasing the level of security. An 8mm distance from the wall facilitates cable routing.

Mounting and security

The enclosure is screwed on from the front with two screws. The front panel has an embossing allowing for the installation of a lock (MR008 or MR027), which further protects the contents from unauthorized access. The enclosure should be installed by a qualified installer. Made of 1.0 mm thick steel sheet with anti-corrosion protection (RAL 7035), it ensures durability and resistance to environmental conditions.

The enclosure offers space for mounting two DIN rails with a length of 320 mm, allowing for the installation of up to eighteen "S" type fuses. Space is also provided for two batteries with a capacity of 17Ah/12V. The tamper (microswitch) used signals an attempt to open the enclosure – its parameters are 0.5A at 50V DC (maximum). The enclosure can operate at temperatures from -10°C to +40°C and belongs to environmental class II. It is made of DC01 steel sheet with a thickness of 1.0 mm and coated with anti-corrosion protection in RAL 7035 color (grey). The net weight is 4.48 kg, and the gross weight – 5.00 kg. External dimensions are 375 x 410 x 155 mm (with additional distance +14mm), and internal: 370 x 405 x 140 mm.
