CCTV Recorder Enclosure – Solid Protection and Easy Installation

This enclosure, designed for CCTV recorders, provides not only physical protection of the device but also facilitates its installation in various locations. Made of metal, it guarantees durability and resistance to sabotage. The tamper protection in the form of a microswitch informs about unauthorized opening of the enclosure, which increases the security level of the entire monitoring system.

The AWO483 enclosure has been designed with the convenience of installers and users in mind. The lock ensures secure closure, and the ability to mount an additional ARAW45 fan (available separately) allows for effective cooling of the recorder, which is particularly important during intensive operation. Additional distance from the wall (18mm) facilitates cable routing and improves air circulation.

Construction and Installation

The enclosure is surface-mounted and lockable. Its external dimensions are 505 x 100 (+18mm) x 405 mm (width x height x depth), and the net weight is 5.3 kg and the gross weight is 5.7 kg. The AWO483BR bracket (available separately) is dedicated to suspending the enclosure under a countertop or other structural element. The recorder is mounted horizontally.

Application and Operating Environment

The enclosure is ideal for securing CCTV recorders in various facilities – from homes and offices to shops and warehouses. It meets the requirements of environmental class II and can operate at temperatures from -10°C to 40°C. Anti-sabotage protection (microswitch with parameters of 0.5A@50V/DC max., normally closed contacts) further increases the security of the monitoring system.
