CCTV Recorder Enclosure – Security and Functionality in One

This enclosure, designed for digital CCTV recorders, is a solid solution for ensuring the safety and protection of your equipment. Made of durable 1 mm thick steel sheet, it provides effective protection against unauthorized access and theft. The enclosure's design has been created with GDPR requirements in mind, guaranteeing secure storage of personal data.

Construction and Mounting

The enclosure is designed for surface mounting. Its vertical construction and small depth (121 mm + 14 mm gap from the wall) make it ideal for places where it is not possible to install deeper cabinets or 19" racks. After opening the enclosure, the front panel remains in a horizontal position, making it easier to access the buttons on the recorder. Inside, there are adjustable mounting straps that allow it to be adapted to recorders with a width of up to 470 mm, a height of up to 95 mm, and a depth of 485 mm. Additionally, it is possible to mount the ARAW45 fan (available separately), which ensures optimal cooling of the device.

Safety and Security

The enclosure is equipped with two locks (MR008) with different codes, which increases the level of security. It also has two tamper microswitches – one signals opening the enclosure, and the other – detaching it from the wall. These safeguards inform about attempts of unauthorized access or theft. The used NC (normally closed) contacts ensure reliable operation of the alarm system in case of violation of the enclosure's integrity.

Specification and Application

The AWO530 enclosure is characterized by external dimensions of 532 x 651 x 130 mm (including the gap from the wall). It is made of DC01 sheet metal painted in white RAL9003 color. It is intended for indoor use and meets the IP20 standard, which provides basic protection against touch and solid objects. The manufacturer's warranty is 2 years.
