Enclosure for alarm and access control systems

This metal enclosure, designed for surface mounting, provides a solid foundation for alarm and access control systems, and is specifically designed to work with Satel brand control panels. The enclosure design meets the requirements of EN50131 Grade 3, guaranteeing a high level of security. Inside, you will find a built-in transformer and space for a backup battery, ensuring a reliable power supply for the system.

Construction and application

The AWO257 enclosure has been designed for easy installation and integration with various security system components. Made of 0.7 mm thick steel sheet (DC01) and coated with anti-corrosion paint in RAL 9003 (white), it provides durability and an aesthetic appearance. Inside there is a TRZ 50VA transformer, which can operate at voltages of 16V, 18V or 20V, adapting to the needs of a specific alarm control panel. The space for the battery allows the installation of a model with a capacity of up to 17Ah/12V, providing a long-lasting backup power supply in the event of a power failure. The enclosure has an anti-sabotage protection in the form of a tamper – both opening the enclosure and detaching it from the wall – which increases the security of the entire system.

The enclosure is characterized by compliance with EN50131 Grade 3, which confirms a high level of security. The built-in TRZ 50VA transformer provides a stable power supply for the alarm control panel, offering output voltages of 16V, 18V or 20V. It is designed to work with a battery with a capacity of up to 17Ah/12V (SLA type). Anti-sabotage protection in the form of a tamper protects against unauthorized access and manipulation. Made of 0.7mm thick DC01 steel sheet, coated with anti-corrosion paint and finished in RAL 9003 (white). Its external dimensions are: width: 340 mm, height: 400 mm and depth: 110 mm (+15mm distance from the wall). The degree of protection is IP20 - protection against touching with a finger and solid bodies larger than 12.5 mm. Screw-on enclosure closure increases resistance to burglary attempts. The product is covered by a two-year warranty from the date of manufacture.

The enclosure is compatible with many Satel alarm control panel models, such as CA6, CA10, VERSA and INTEGRA. It allows the installation of not only the alarm control panel but also additional modules expanding the functionality of the system.
