Fuse module LB5/5x0.5A/2.5/AW AWZ536
Fuse module for alarm and power systems
This fuse module, designated AWZ536, is a reliable solution for power distribution in low-voltage systems. It is suitable for both alarm installations and anywhere where circuit protection against overload and short circuit is required. It is designed to operate with a voltage of 10V÷30V DC or 10V÷24V AC, making it a versatile element in many applications – from buffer power supplies to transformers.
Functionality and construction
The LB5/5x0.5A/2.5/AW module has one power input (IN) and five independently protected AUX1÷AUX5 outputs. Each output is equipped with a 0.5A or polymer PTC 0.5A fuse (1A fuses can be used) to protect against short-circuit effects. Additionally, all outputs are protected against overvoltage using varistors. The status of the outputs is indicated by LED diodes (L1÷L5), and a failure of one of the fuses is signaled by a red LFPS diode. An OC type technical output (FPS) allows remote monitoring of the module's status – ideal for integration with monitoring or failure notification systems.
Mounting and technical parameters
The module has been designed for easy installation. It accepts wires with a cross-section of up to 2.5mm², which ensures convenient connection to the existing infrastructure. The weight of the device is approximately 120g, and its dimensions (150x30x43mm) allow installation even in limited space. The operating temperature range is -10°C to +50°C. The FPS technical output has an OC type and a maximum current of 50mA. The module also has short-circuit protection (SCP) and overload protection (OLP).
Additional information:
- The module is adapted to replace fuses with fuse or polymer PTC fuses with a value of 0.5A or 1A (1A fuses are not included).
- The FPS output can be used to connect external optical signaling or another device monitoring the module's status.
- Thanks to the independent output circuits, a failure of one of them does not affect the operation of the others.
- The use of varistors provides additional protection against overvoltage, which increases the lifespan of connected devices.
- The module has a two-year warranty from the date of manufacture.
