Functionality and protection

The LB8/0.5A/PTC module offers two independent power inputs – a screw terminal and a DC 5.5/2.1 socket – which increases installation flexibility. It accepts a supply voltage in the range of 10-30V DC, adapting to different energy sources. It has eight independent AUX1-AUX8 power outputs, each protected by a 0.5A PTC polymer fuse. The activation of the fuse is signaled by an extinguishing LED assigned to the given output (L1-L8), which facilitates quick problem identification. Additionally, each output circuit is protected by a varistor, which protects against overvoltage.

Installation and application

The module can be mounted on a mounting rail using double-sided tape or screws (3mm holes). It is designed to operate at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C and meets the requirements of environmental class II. This makes it suitable for both indoor applications and in conditions of limited atmospheric loads. The possibility of mounting on PSD (desktop) series power supplies further expands its application. Screw connections accept wires with a cross-section from 0.41mm² to 1.63mm² (AWG 26-14).
