The Grade 3 HPSG3 13.8V/3A/17Ah buffered switch-mode power supply is a key element of security systems, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of a mains power failure. The device is designed to work with devices requiring a stabilized 12V DC voltage, and its construction meets the stringent standards of EN50131-6 and EN60839-11. Design and functionality

The HPSG3 power supply is characterized by high efficiency (up to 81%) and the ability to work with batteries up to 17Ah in capacity. It has built-in protection against short circuit (SCP), overload (OLP), overvoltage (OVP) and battery discharge (UVP), which guarantees protection of connected devices. The metal housing with IP44 protection provides resistance to environmental conditions. Additionally, the power supply is equipped with an LED optical indicator informing about the operating status and OC (EPS, PSU, APS) technical outputs enabling remote monitoring of the power supply and battery status. The LCD version offers an advanced panel displaying operating parameters, failure history and enabling remote configuration.

Application and compliance with standards

The HPSG3 power supply is used in alarm systems (SSWiN) and access control systems (KD). It meets the requirements of EN50131-6 standard at grade 3 and EN60839-11 standard, which confirms its high quality and reliability. Depending on the required level of system security, the output current of the power supply can be adjusted to needs – for Grade 3 it is 0.54A with a standby time of 60 hours or 1.39A with a standby time of 30 hours. The device is ideal for applications requiring high power supply stability and resistance to interference. Thanks to the START function, it is possible to manually switch on the power supply from the battery if necessary.
