This certified buffer power supply, with a voltage of 27.6V DC and a current of 2A, is designed to ensure the continuous operation of fire protection and smoke extraction systems. It meets the stringent EN54-4 standards, guaranteeing high reliability and effectiveness in emergency situations. Use in such installations requires a stable power supply, and this model provides it even in the event of a mains power failure, automatically switching to battery power.

Design and operating parameters

The power supply is designed to work with two 12V batteries with a capacity of 7Ah each. It is characterized by high efficiency – up to 88%, which translates to efficient energy use. The housing made of steel sheet (RAL3001 - red) ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Built-in protections (SCP, OLP, OVP, UVP, tamper) protect both the power supply itself and the connected devices from the effects of short circuits, overloads, overvoltages and unauthorized access. Additionally, it has technical outputs signaling AC network failures and collective failures.

The EN54C-2A7 power supply is used in a wide range of fire protection installations – from fire alarm systems to smoke and heat control systems. It meets the requirements of EN54-4 and EN12101-10 standards, confirming its compliance with European safety standards. It has a CNBOP-PIB No. 1438-CPR-0628 Declaration of Conformity and a CNBOP-PIB No. 5222/2024 approval certificate. Surface mounting simplifies installation and access to the device. The use of a lock (MR027) provides additional protection against unauthorized access.
