This buffer power supply, designed for fire alarm systems, provides uninterrupted power to devices requiring a stable 27.6V DC voltage. The design based on the EN54-4 standard guarantees its use in professional fire protection systems, ensuring their reliability in critical situations. It is ideal for installations requiring high availability and resistance to interference.

Construction and functionality

The power supply has two independently protected AUX1 and AUX2 outputs, delivering a total current of 5A. In the event of a mains power failure, it automatically switches to battery power, ensuring the continuity of the system. The metal housing in RAL3001 (red) color provides durability and an aesthetic appearance. It is designed for surface mounting and has space for two 17Ah/12V batteries (batteries are not included). A built-in tamper microswitch protects against unauthorized access and signals opening of the housing.

The maximum resistance of the battery circuit is 300mΩ. The current consumption by the power supply circuits is a maximum of 67mA (depending on the version). The dimensions of the device are 385 x 402 x 88 mm (+/-2 mm). The IP30 protection class provides protection against touching and the ingress of solid objects. The manufacturer's warranty is 3 years from the date of production.
