The PC3 time relay module, model AWZ525, is a reliable device designed to extend trigger pulses in electrical installations and automation systems. Its main function is to maintain the on state for a specified time, which finds application in many scenarios – from simple time delays to more complex control systems. The device is particularly useful where precise control of circuit operating time is required.

Functionality and operational flexibility

AWZ525 offers a wide range of work time adjustment – from 1 second to 5 minutes. This allows it to be adapted to the specific needs of the application. The module has two operating modes, which allow for flexible control: a mode of extending the time from the moment the pulse appears and a mode of extending the time from the moment the trigger signal disappears. Optical signaling using LEDs informs about the power supply status, the presence of a trigger signal and the relay activation, which facilitates diagnostics and monitoring of the device's operation. Jumpers allow you to select the time range (1s-60s or 5s-5min) and the operating mode, providing full control over the operating parameters.

Construction and technical parameters

The module is powered by a voltage of 10-14V DC and is equipped with S+ and S- control inputs, which allow triggering with a positive or ground. The relay output with parameters of 1A@30VDC/50VAC allows controlling various loads. Compact dimensions (60x43x23 mm) allow for easy integration with existing installations. The current consumption is 5mA (relay inactive) or 25mA (relay active). The device operates at a temperature of -10°C to +40°C and has a two-year manufacturer's warranty. The relay has C/NO/NC contacts, which ensures versatility of application. Mounting is done with mounting tape or screws (3mm holes). The connectors accept wires with a cross-section of Ф0.51÷2.05 mm (AWG 24-12).
