Universal mains transformer for many applications

The TRZ 40VA/16V/18V transformer is a reliable AC power source, designed for devices requiring 16V or 18V voltage. Its compact dimensions (75 x 124 x 65 mm) and weight (approx. 1.3 kg) facilitate installation in various applications – from alarm systems, through power supplies for controllers, to home automation devices. The transformer design ensures stable output voltage and efficient operation.

Solid construction and safety

The housing made of durable PC/ABS plastic (UL94-V0 class) guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and ensures safe use. The transformer has an IP43 protection class, which protects it against the ingress of solids and splashing water. Built-in thermal protection (130°C) and a fuse (0.315A) protect both the transformer itself and the devices connected to it from overload and short circuit. The resin-encapsulated body further increases its durability and resistance to environmental conditions.

Easy installation and compatibility

The transformer can be easily mounted on a flat surface with screws or on a DIN rail (additional AWO466 brackets required). It is also dedicated to SATEL OPU3-P/OPU4-P/OPU4-PW enclosures, which facilitates integration with alarm systems of this company. The connection terminals are adapted for wires with a cross-section of AWG 24-12 (2.5mm²), which ensures a secure electrical connection. The supply voltage is 230V AC at a frequency of 50Hz, and the output power is 40VA, allowing you to power devices with a power of up to 40W at 16V or 18V. Available output voltages are 16V at 2.2A current and 18V at 2A current – selecting the appropriate voltage allows you to adapt the transformer to specific needs.
