PexPenta pipe is an innovative solution dedicated to underfloor heating installations, characterized by exceptional quality and reliability. It is the first pipe on the market with a fully shielded oxygen barrier, guaranteeing long-term protection of the installation against corrosion. The pipe's construction is designed for demanding operating conditions, providing resistance to high temperatures and aggressive media.

Construction and properties

PexPenta stands out with its unique 5-layer construction, manufactured in a co-extrusion process. The centrally located EVOH layer acts as an effective anti-diffusion barrier, almost completely eliminating oxygen penetration into the installation. The inner layer made of PE-Xc (electron beam cross-linked polyethylene) provides high mechanical strength and flexibility. Physical crosslinking is carried out without the use of chemicals, making the pipe safe for health and the environment.

PexPenta pipe retains its flexibility even at low temperatures, and thanks to its shape memory, it returns to its original form after heating. The strength parameters are comparable to PE-Xa pipes, confirming its high quality and reliability. Thanks to the applied technologies and materials, the pipe's service life is estimated at at least 50 years.

Application and compliance with standards

PexPenta pipe is primarily intended for underfloor heating installations, but can also be used in water supply and heating systems. It meets the requirements of EN ISO 21003 and DIN 4726 standards, guaranteeing its safety and compliance with applicable regulations. The maximum operating temperature of the pipe is 90°C, and the maximum working pressure is 6 bar.
