This elbow is from the Cleverfit PPSU series, designed for creating durable and safe connections in internal heating and plumbing installations. Made of high-quality polyphenylene sulfone (PPSU), it provides resistance to high temperatures, corrosion, and aggressive chemicals contained in water. The elbow is designed for radial pressing, which guarantees a tight and reliable connection.

Materials and construction for long-term operation

The fitting is made entirely of PPSU – a material valued for its strength and resistance to mechanical damage. Connection 1 and 2 is a clamping sleeve, which facilitates installation and ensures secure seating of the pipe. The elbow construction also includes a stainless steel collar, which permanently crimps the pipe during pressing, creating an inseparable connection. Two EPDM rubber O-rings provide additional protection against leaks, and a control window allows you to check the correct seating of the pipe in the fitting.

Safety and functionality of the Cleverfit system

The Cleverfit system is distinguished by innovative solutions that increase the safety of the installation. The “Leak Before Press” (LBP) function is a key element – it provides a visible water leak in the event of an unpressed connection at a pressure above 1 bar. This eliminates the risk of apparent tightness and potential costly repairs in the future. Additionally, the “Multi Tool” function allows the use of two different profiles (TH and U) in the clamping jaws, which increases installation flexibility and allows the use of different pressing tools. The warranty on the entire system is 10 years, and the estimated durability exceeds 50 years – this confirms the high quality of materials and precision of workmanship.
