Universal multilayer pipe for heating and water supply systems

The PURMO CLEVERFIT PE-RT/AL/PE-RT pipe with insulation is a comprehensive solution designed for both heating and water supply installations. Made of advanced materials, it ensures reliability and durability in various operating conditions. The pipe's construction, based on five layers (PE-RT II, adhesive, aluminum, adhesive, PE-RT II), guarantees high resistance to pressure and temperature. The aluminum layer, butt-welded, minimizes the risk of oxygen diffusion into the installation, which is particularly important in heating systems.

This pipe is also characterized by high flexibility and ease of installation. The insulation protects the pipe from mechanical damage during transport and installation, and also facilitates routing the pipes in hard-to-reach places. Supplied in coils of 50 meters in length, which significantly speeds up the work of installers and minimizes the number of connections.

Construction and properties

The CLEVERFIT Radial pipe has been designed with demanding applications in mind. The combination of high-density polyethylene (PE-RT) with an aluminum layer provides optimal hydraulic and mechanical properties. The inner layer of the pipe is resistant to contact with aggressive and corrosive water, and is also neutral to drinking water – as confirmed by hygiene certificates. Additionally, the material is resistant to the action of glycol (up to 30%), allowing the pipe to be used in underfloor heating systems with glycol as the heating medium.

The use of aluminum in the pipe structure provides low thermal expansion, so the pipe retains its shape even with large temperature changes. This translates into installation stability and minimizes the risk of internal stress. The maximum operating temperature of the pipe is 95°C, and the maximum working pressure is 10 bar – these parameters meet the requirements of most standard heating and water supply installations. The pipe complies with EN ISO 21003.
