PURMO CLEVERFIT PE-RT/AL/PE-RT pipe with sheathing is a comprehensive solution for central heating and water supply systems. The pipe's construction, based on a combination of thermally enhanced polyethylene (PE-RT) with an aluminum layer, guarantees high durability and reliability. The aluminum layer, butt-welded, acts as a barrier against oxygen diffusion, minimizes thermal expansion, and ensures the pipe's dimensional stability. Additional layers of adhesive between the aluminum and polyethylene prevent delamination of the material.

The pipe is available in a coil of 50 meters, which facilitates transport and installation over larger areas. The sheathing protects the pipe from mechanical damage during transport and installation. The product meets the EN ISO 21003 standard and has a PZH hygienic certificate, confirming its safety for health and the environment.

Construction and properties

The multilayer construction of the PURMO Cleverfit Radial pipe provides a range of benefits for both installers and end-users. Five layers – twice PE-RT, two layers of adhesive, and aluminum – create a structure resistant to high temperatures (up to 95°C briefly) and pressure (PN10). The aluminum layer plays a key role in ensuring the tightness of the oxygen barrier, which is particularly important in heating installations with steel radiators. The low thermal expansion of aluminum minimizes the risk of pipe deformation due to temperature changes.

The pipe is compatible with various underfloor heating systems (e.g., railjet, TS14 S, TS14 R) as well as traditional heating and water supply installations. The possibility of using up to 30% glycol makes it a universal solution also in systems protected against freezing. Additionally, the inner layer of PE-RT is neutral to drinking water and resistant to various chemical substances.
