PEX Penta pipe is an advanced solution dedicated to underfloor heating installations, characterized by exceptional quality and reliability. It is the first pipe on the market with a fully shielded oxygen barrier, guaranteeing long-term protection of the installation against corrosion. The pipe's construction is designed for demanding operating conditions, providing resistance to high temperatures and aggressive media.

Construction and properties

PexPenta pipe stands out with its unique 5-layer construction, which is manufactured in a single extrusion process. A key element is the inner layer made of PE-Xc – electron beam crosslinked polyethylene. This process strengthens the material, increasing its mechanical strength and flexibility. A centrally located EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol) anti-diffusion barrier almost completely eliminates oxygen permeability, protecting installation components from corrosion. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the pipe and the anti-diffusion layer are identical, minimizing the risk of stress in connections.

Additionally, the pipe has a so-called shape memory – after heating, it returns to its original shape, which facilitates assembly and repairs. It is also resistant to negative temperatures, allowing its use in various climatic conditions. The pipe's durability has been confirmed by gas permeability tests carried out within the production plant, as well as laser tests along the entire length of the pipe.

Application and parameters

PEX Penta pipe with a diameter of 17x2 mm is intended for underfloor heating and low-temperature hot water heating installations. The operating parameters of the pipe are 90°C maximum temperature and 6 bar working pressure. Thanks to the high quality of materials and the precise production process, the pipe guarantees a service life of at least 50 years, and the manufacturer offers a 30-year warranty on the product. It meets the standards EN ISO 21003 and DIN 4726, confirming its compliance with European safety and quality standards.
