The Sun type LED panel luminaire with dimensions 600x600 mm is a solution that combines high luminous efficiency with practical resistance to environmental conditions. Designed for rooms requiring clean, uniform light, it generates a luminous flux of 3680 lm at only 30 W of power. As a result, it achieves an impressive luminous efficacy exceeding 120 lm/W, which translates into real energy savings over long-term operation. Light with a color temperature of 4000 K (neutral white) provides natural working conditions, and a color rendering index (CRI) of 80 guarantees faithful color appearance in the surroundings.

Visual comfort and advanced construction

A key element of this luminaire is the use of a microprismatic plate (MPRM), which not only disperses light but, above all, drastically reduces glare. A UGR coefficient below 15 makes the device ideal for use in offices, conference rooms, or communication corridors, where employees spend many hours under the direct influence of lighting. The housing, made of electrostatically painted steel sheet, ensures durability and aesthetics, and its compact height of just 47 mm allows for installation in places with limited space above the suspended ceiling.

Inside, there are two LED modules with binning diodes (SDCM tolerance ≤ 3), which eliminates the risk of visible color differences between individual luminaires in a single room. The light source is non-replaceable and integrated with the housing, which simplifies the construction and increases its tightness. A power supply with a power factor of cos ϕ = 0.97 minimizes reactive energy losses in the electrical installation.

Application and operating conditions

Thanks to the IP44 protection rating (from the bottom) and protection class I, the luminaire can be safely installed in rooms with an increased risk of contamination or moisture, such as industrial kitchens, bathrooms, or production halls. In accordance with standards, the device is characterized by a long lifespan – maintaining an L90/B10 level, it exceeds 54 000 operating hours.

Mounting options are flexible:

• Suspended ceiling: Standard mounting to plasterboard or modular ceilings (requires an additional frame for the plasterboard version).
• Pendant: Possibility of hanging on steel cables.
• Surface-mounted: Mounting directly to the ceiling (requires appropriate accessories).

The product holds CE and PZH certificates, as well as the HACCP+ designation, making it approved for use in catering and food processing facilities. The rated voltage is 220–240 V, and the operating temperature range is from -15 °C to +40 °C. It is worth noting that thanks to a high luminous efficacy exceeding 123 lm/W and an A+ energy class, the device offers low operating costs. The IP44 protection rating from the bottom protects against splashes, while from the top it is IP20, which is typical for this type of construction mounted in suspended ceilings.

This luminaire provides a solid base for modern lighting installations, offering stable operation and low maintenance costs without the need for frequent service interventions or replacement of light sources.
