3-Stage Charging Technology and Safety

The charger utilizes an intelligent 3-stage charging process – Bulk, Boost, and Float – which adjusts the voltage and current to the current state of the battery. The Bulk phase identifies the battery's needs and charges it to 80% capacity at maximum current. Then, in the Boost phase, the voltage is maintained at a constant level, and the charging current is reduced. The last phase, Float, maintains a fully charged battery at a reduced voltage. Additionally, the device has a number of protections: against short circuit, reverse polarity, overcharge, and overheating. A built-in fuse further increases safety. An LED indicates the current charging stage.
