Induction-hardened concrete screw, M10 12.4x100 mm, hex head with flange, zinc flake coated, R-HLX /50pkg/ R-HLX-10X100-HF-ZF
Advanced concrete fasteners
The induction-hardened R-HLX concrete screw with a diameter of M10 and a length of 100 mm is an advanced solution for professional fastening in cracked and uncracked concrete of class C20/25-C50/60. Made of manganese steel with a zinc flake coating (ZF), it ensures enhanced corrosion resistance and high surface hardness thanks to the induction hardening technology.
Design and operating parameters
The new thread design with additional cutting teeth enables quick and easy installation even in reinforced concrete, significantly speeding up installation work. The hexagonal head with flange (HF) facilitates installation using standard tools – it requires a SW15 wrench.
The zinc flake ZF coating not only protects against corrosion but also eliminates the risk of hydrogen embrittlement by eliminating acid pickling during the production process. Production takes place in one of the largest European cold forging factories, specializing in the automotive and industrial sectors.
The screw provides the highest strength parameters confirmed by the ETA-23-0707 certificate. It features fire resistance of R30-R120, enabling its use in areas with heightened fire safety requirements. The design allows for installation near concrete edges and with small spacing between adjacent fastening elements.
Additionally, the product meets the requirements of seismic category C1 and C2, confirming its suitability for use in areas prone to earthquakes.
Application and compatibility
A universal solution suitable for mounting safety barriers and railings, ventilated facades, steel structures, and warehouse racking. Used for installing stadium seating, fences, and gates, as well as for bumper posts / bollards.
It can be used as a temporary or permanent fastener – allowing for multiple installations and removals while maintaining strength parameters (maximum two times). Particularly recommended for fastening electrical installations and formwork systems.
Installation instructions
Installation begins by drilling a Ø10mm hole to a minimum depth of 65mm using a hammer drill or a drill with dust extraction. After blowing out the dust (minimum 4 times with a hand pump), insert the element with an impact wrench until fully seated – tightening torque maximum 1000 Nm. In dustless installation, there is no need to clean the hole.
The minimum thickness of concrete elements is 100mm, maintaining minimum spacing between fastening points of 60mm and a minimum distance from the edge of 60mm.
