Induction-hardened concrete screw R-HLX
Concrete screw R-HLX with hexagonal head and flake zinc coating is designed for fast fixing in reinforced and unreinforced concrete of classes C20/25-C50/60. Hardened steel and flake zinc coating ensure corrosion resistance.
Construction and materials
The core made of induction-hardened steel with a nominal tensile strength of 800 N/mm² and a yield strength of 640 N/mm² ensures load-bearing capacity while maintaining flexibility. An effective cross-section of 103.9 mm² and a characteristic bending moment of 143.3 Nm allow for the transfer of tensile and shear loads.
The flake zinc coating provides enhanced corrosion resistance. The thread geometry with additional cutting teeth allows for installation without expansion sleeves. A hole with a diameter of 12 mm is drilled, and the screw is installed using an impact wrench.
Operating parameters and structural safety
In uncracked concrete with a standard anchoring depth of 100 mm, the characteristic load-bearing capacity is 35.20 kN for tensile load and 41.60 kN for shear. In cracked concrete, these parameters are 24.60 kN and 41.60 kN, respectively. Recommended working loads are 16.76 kN (uncracked) and 11.71 kN (cracked).
The minimum substrate thickness must be at least 155 mm, the minimum edge distance is 80 mm, and the spacing between anchors is also 80 mm. The maximum tightening torque for the impact wrench is 1000 Nm.
Specialized applications
Fire resistance class R30-R120 enables use in structures with heightened fire safety requirements.
The screws can be used in seismic zones of categories C1 and C2 and installed close to concrete edges while maintaining minimum distances. The possibility of disassembly up to a height of 10 mm allows for adjustment of the mounted elements.
Applications include poles and road signs, roads and bridges, sanitary and gas installations, scaffolding, seating in public buildings, steel structures, and warehouse racking. Polish production guarantees precision of execution and repeatability of technical parameters confirmed by laboratory tests.
