Polyamide frame anchor 10x100 mm with funnel, electro-galvanized screw, FF1 /25pkg/ R-FF1-N-10L100
Universal solution for fixing frames and structures
The polyamide frame plug R-FF1-N-10L100 is a professional fastener designed for a wide spectrum of construction applications. The special geometry of the sleeve made of high-quality polyamide and the electro-galvanized steel screw ensure secure fastening in concrete and various types of brick. The countersunk head version allows for an aesthetic flush finish with the surface of the fastened element.
High-quality construction and materials
The plug sleeve is made of a special polyamide (nylon) formula, which enables achieving the highest fastening parameters in all substrate categories according to ETAG 020. The internal geometry of the sleeve has been precisely designed to fit perfectly with the countersunk screw head. The plug construction provides multi-axial expansion, which translates to exceptional stability and load capacity of the fastening.
The screw is made of carbon steel subjected to an electro-galvanizing process, which guarantees effective protection against corrosion. The TORX T40 mounting socket allows for precise installation while maintaining full control over the tightening torque. The plug has a diameter of 9.8 mm and a length of 100 mm, while the screw has a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 107 mm.
Wide spectrum of applications
The FF1 frame plug is ideal for fastening door and window frames, where an aesthetic surface finish is required. It is successfully used for the installation of garage doors and industrial gates, where loads are higher. In the facade sector, it enables secure fastening of metal and wooden elements to the substrate.
In domestic applications, it works perfectly for mounting wall cabinets, shelves, and handrails. In technical installations, it is used for mounting satellite antennas and cable trays. The versatility of this solution allows it to be used by both professional installers and DIY enthusiasts.
Compatibility with various substrates
The product is recommended for a wide range of building materials. In category A (concrete), it works well in cracked and uncracked concrete of class ≥ C12/15. Category B includes solid ceramic and silicate bricks. Category C includes perforated ceramic and silicate bricks.
Category D consists of lightweight concrete hollow blocks and aerated concrete (autoclaved aerated concrete).
Operating parameters, installation, and certificates
The plug provides an effective anchorage depth of 50 mm at a diameter of 10 mm. The maximum thickness of the fastened element can be up to 50 mm. The minimum distance from the substrate edge is 80 mm, and the minimum spacing between plugs is 95 mm. These parameters guarantee correct anchor performance without the risk of substrate damage.
The installation process is simple: drill a hole with a diameter of 10 mm to a minimum depth of 60 mm, then insert the plug through the hole in the fastened element, tap it in with a hammer to the required depth marked on the sleeve, and then tighten the TORX T40 screw until the countersunk head is fully seated flush with the surface.
Characteristic load capacity for pull-out loads is, respectively, for different failure modes: steel minimum 7.3 kN, concrete minimum 2.0 kN. For shear loads, the characteristic load capacity without eccentricity is a minimum of 5.4 kN. The partial safety factor γMc is 1.8.
European certificates ETA-12/0398 and British UKTA-22/6344 confirm compliance with all safety requirements for construction applications. The manufacturer provides a warranty for repair or replacement of the equipment for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase, provided the product is used correctly.
