The FF1 frame plug with a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 140 mm is an advanced fastener designed for light and medium applications in construction. The special geometry of the sleeve made of high-quality polyamide and the electro-galvanized steel screw ensure reliable fastening in concrete and various types of brick.

Construction and materials

The plug sleeve is made of a special polyamide formula that allows for achieving the highest fastening parameters in all substrate categories according to ETAG 020 (A, B, C, D). The internal geometry of the sleeve has been precisely designed to perfectly fit the conical screw head. The steel screw with a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 147 mm features an electro-galvanized coating for improved corrosion resistance.

The plug design provides multi-axis expansion, which guarantees secure fastening even in substrates with varied structures. The conical head allows for the aesthetic flush mounting of the fastened element with the mounting surface.

Application and compatibility

The FF1 frame plug is ideal for mounting:

• Door and window frames, as well as garage doors and industrial gates
• Facades with metal and wooden elements
• Wall cabinets, shelves, and handrails
• Satellite antennas and cable trays

The product is compatible with a wide range of building materials: concrete (including cracked ≥ C12/15), solid and hollow ceramic brick, solid and hollow silicate brick, lightweight concrete blocks, and aerated concrete.

Operating parameters and safety

The effective anchorage depth is 70 mm for concrete substrates. The characteristic load capacity for regular concrete ≥ C16/20 is 8.5 kN under tension and 5.4 kN under shear. The T40 type mounting tip enables precise installation using appropriate tools.

The product holds ETA-12/0398 and UKTA-22/6344 certificates, confirming its high performance parameters and safety of use.

Installation and operation

Installation takes place in three simple stages: drilling a hole with a diameter of 10 mm to the appropriate depth (minimum h0 = 80 mm), inserting the sleeve through the fastened element and tapping it with a hammer to the required nominal depth (hnom = 70 mm), and then tightening the screw using a wrench or screwdriver until fully seated.

The unit packaging contains 25 pieces of FF1 frame plugs with dimensions Ø10×140 mm and their corresponding electro-galvanized screws.
