FF1 Frame Anchor Construction and Materials

The R-FF1-N-10K240/DT frame anchor utilizes a special polyamide formula, which enables achieving the highest parameters in all substrate categories according to ETAG 020 (A, B, C, D). The sleeve with a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 240 mm is designed with an internal geometry that perfectly fits the screw head, ensuring a stable connection.

The screw with a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 249 mm is made of steel protected with a Zinc Flake anti-corrosion coating. This special surface significantly increases corrosion resistance, which is particularly important for external installations and in high-humidity environments. The hexagonal head allows for easy tightening using standard tools.

The anchor design provides multi-axis expansion, which increases grip in various types of building materials. The anchor is equipped with a flange that allows the fastening to be flush with soft substrates.

Application and Material Compatibility

The FF1 frame anchor works excellently for fastening hard materials such as steel and structural elements requiring permanent anchoring. It is recommended for a wide range of construction applications.

Operating Parameters and Installation Safety

The maximum thickness of the fastened element is 170 mm, allowing for the installation of even thick structural profiles. The mounting hole should have a diameter of 10 mm, and its depth must be adjusted to the long sleeve of the anchor.

Installation follows a proven process: drilling a hole of the appropriate diameter, cleaning it of dust (ideally by blowing it out four times), placing the anchor through the fastened element directly into the substrate, and tapping it with a hammer until it is fully seated.

Tightening the screw is done using a hexagonal socket (13 mm wrench) or a T40 bit until permanent anchoring is achieved. It is crucial to ensure that the expansion zone is entirely within the load-bearing substrate.

Compliance with Standards and Certifications

The product has ETA certification, which guarantees safe use in all substrate categories according to ETAG 020 (A-D). Depth markings facilitate precise installation and control of the correct seating of the anchor.

The galvanically zinc-plated hex head screw can be installed using a hexagonal mounting bit or a T40 socket. This system guarantees uniform distribution of the clamping force and optimal performance of the entire connection, even under varying dynamic or static loads.
