The frame plug R-FF1-N-08L140 is a professional fastener designed for a wide spectrum of construction applications. The special design featuring polyamide and a galvanically zinc-plated steel screw ensures reliable fastening in concrete and various types of bricks. The countersunk head version allows for an aesthetic flush fit with the surface of the fastened element.

Construction and materials

The sleeve is made of high-quality polyamide, which meets the requirements of all substrate categories (A, B, C, D) according to ETAG 020 standards. The internal geometry of the sleeve has been precisely designed to perfectly match the shape of the countersunk screw head. The steel screw with a diameter of 5,8 mm and a length of 147 mm is coated with galvanic zinc, providing excellent corrosion protection.

The plug's design creates a multi-axis expansion, which translates to secure fastening even in substrates with varied structures. Thanks to the special polyamide formula, the highest strength parameters are achieved while maintaining installation flexibility.

Operating parameters and load capacity

The plug with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 140 mm is characterized by an effective anchorage depth of 50 mm. In ordinary concrete of class ≥C12/15, the characteristic pull-out load capacity is 1,5 kN, while for concrete of class ≥C16/20, it reaches 2,0 kN. The shear load for ordinary concrete is 3,6 kN.

The maximum thickness of the fastened element can be up to 90 mm (for tfix hnom min) or 70 mm (for tfix hnom max). The tightening torque for concrete and masonry substrates should not exceed the specified installation values.

The plug meets the requirements for concrete substrates from class C20/25 to C50/60 and various types of ceramic and silicate bricks.

Installation parameters have been defined for various operating conditions, taking into account both static and dynamic loads. The effective anchorage depth of 50 mm ensures an optimal ratio of load capacity to embedment depth.
