The RAWLNUT R-RNT-M5/26 rubber plug is a professional solution for fixing in demanding conditions. Made of high-quality synthetic rubber with a brass threaded insert M5, it ensures exceptional resistance to vibration and corrosion. The rubber sealing flange allows for a tight fit even in holes with irregular shapes.

Application and material compatibility

The plug performs well in both solid and hollow materials - solid brick, hollow brick, lightweight concrete blocks, hollow concrete blocks, aerated concrete, plasterboard, chipboard, OSB boards as well as PVC profiles. It is ideal for mounting equipment elements such as lighting, wall shelves, trunking, and cable trays. It is also suitable for electrical installations, brackets and hooks, as well as the mounting of pictures and photographs.

The load capacity depends on the type of substrate - for 9.5mm plasterboard, the maximum load is 9 kg, while for thicker 12.5mm board it is already 11 kg. In solid blocks with a strength of 7N/mm², it achieves an impressive 130 kg, and in hollow blocks of the same class 70 kg.

Construction and design

The plug has a diameter of 5 mm and a length of 26 mm, with a flange thickness of 1.3 mm. The grip range is 8-16 mm, allowing for flexible adaptation to different material thicknesses. The brass threaded insert M5 ensures a durable connection with mounting screws.

The design is based on a springy rubber sleeve, which compresses when the screw is tightened, creating a secure fix even in uneven holes. The synthetic rubber provides resistance to external factors and vibration damping.

Installation and usage

Installation proceeds in four simple steps. First, drill a hole of the appropriate diameter - for solid materials, the depth should correspond to the length of the screw plus the thickness of the object to be mounted. After cleaning the hole of sharp edges (which could damage the plug), insert it until the flange.

Next, place the object to be mounted and tighten the screw until a tight fit is achieved without over-tightening. The plug works equally effectively in holes with regular and irregular shapes.
