Flat diaphragm expansion vessel REFIX C-DE-12, 12L, 10 bar / 70°, G3/4" threaded connection, blue, for DHW, fire protection, underfloor heating, geothermal, wall-mounted, with non-replaceable membrane 7270910
Professional expansion vessel for specialized installations
The REFIX C-DE-12 diaphragm expansion vessel is a high-end pressure device designed for installations requiring a specialized approach. With a capacity of 12 liters and a maximum working pressure of 10 bar at temperatures up to 70°C, it excels in systems where standard solutions are insufficient.
Application and compatibility
The product was developed specifically for installations not subject to the DIN 1988 standard, which covers a wide range of professional applications. It performs particularly well in fire protection installations, where system reliability is critical for safety. Simultaneously, it finds application in industrial water installations, underfloor heating, and geothermal installations, where stable operating parameters are required.
In Poland, the product holds a PZH certificate, allowing its use also in potable water installations. This versatility makes it a universal tool for installers working with diverse water systems.
Construction and materials
At the heart of the vessel is a bladder-type butyl membrane (IIR - isobutylene rubber), which reliably separates the gas space from the water-filled section. The membrane is non-replaceable and manufactured according to the PN-EN 13831 standard, guaranteeing long-term system tightness.
The "flat" type construction (diskusform) is characterized by compact dimensions while maintaining an optimal useful capacity of approximately 6.5 liters. Parts in contact with water are protected against corrosion, and the external surface is covered with a durable lacquered coating in blue.
Operating parameters and safety
The vessel operates at a factory-set pre-charge pressure of 4 bar, with a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. The operating temperature range is from -10°C to +70°C, which allows for operation even in freezing conditions with the addition of an anti-freeze agent (25-50% glycol mixture).
The design is of a non-flow type, meaning it lacks flow, shut-off, and drain fittings. Installation is exclusively suspended using a G3/4" stainless steel threaded connection.
Compliance and standards
The product meets the requirements of the EU Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and bears the CE marking. The vessels are designed and manufactured in accordance with the DIN EN 13831 standard, confirming their high quality of workmanship and operational safety.
Approval for use also includes cooling installations and central heating systems, expanding the range of application possibilities for this model.
