Push-in Comb Bridge for Interface Relays

The comb connector ZGZP80-8 GY is a component of the RELPOL Push-in system, dedicated to interface relays PI84, PI85, PI84P, and PI85P. This gray comb bridge enables coil power management in industrial applications.

Construction and Technical Parameters

The comb bridge is made of insulating materials. Its design allows for bridging common input signals via coil terminals A1 or A2, and also enables simultaneous connection of both potentials for greater application flexibility.

Electrical parameters: maximum permissible current is 10 A at 250 V AC. The connector supports connection of up to 8 sockets or relays, reducing the amount of wiring required to power the entire assembly.

The bridge can be shortened by simply breaking off unnecessary segments.

Installation Benefits and Practical Application

In practice, the comb bridge ZGZP80-8 GY eliminates the need for individual wiring of each relay. Instead of eight separate power cables, a single bridge connected to a common power source is sufficient.

In environments with limited mounting space, the space saved on the 35 mm mounting rail (compliant with standard PN-EN 60715) results in a more compact arrangement of the entire control assembly. Additionally, standardized connections facilitate servicing and expansion of existing installations.

The Push-in system eliminates the need for tools during installation – all connections are made by simply inserting the conductor into the appropriate terminal.
