This surge protector is designed to protect data and signal lines powered by 48 V DC. Its purpose is to minimize the risk of damage caused by sudden voltage spikes that may occur in the network. This is particularly important in control systems, automation, telecommunications and anywhere where the precise operation of electronic devices is critical.
This surge protector protects two independent lines, making it an effective solution when protecting multiple circuits simultaneously. The fast response time – less than 1 nanosecond for surges between lines – provides almost instantaneous protection against harmful impulses. In the case of a surge between the line and the ground (PG) point, the response time is up to 100 nanoseconds.
The device's design allows for direct mounting on a standard 35 mm rail (according to PN-EN 60715), which simplifies and speeds up installation. Compact dimensions (90 x 6 x 63 mm) and low weight (34 g) allow for discreet mounting even in limited space.

The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against accidental contact, but does not protect against the effects of water or dust – therefore, remember to place the device appropriately during installation. The impulse current D1 per line is 0.5 kA, and the rated load current at 25°C is 0.5 A.
